GIANTS Secret Weapon on Display!
The 3rd Tempt Destiny billboard by Manuel Morales is on display at the NJ Turnpike 16 W Exit and Paterson Plank Rd. along side the Meadowlands complex. After eighteen years in waiting, on February 3, 2008, we finally discovered that yes, we can indeed Tempt Destiny™ for one more victory! (see location)

Artwork Legacy:
Each time, the artwork of Manuel Morales has been featured on a billboard in support of the NY Giants Super Bowl quest (Super Bowl XXI and XXV), they went on to win the Super Bowl! The billboard's 2-for-2 winning record was documented and licensed by the NFL as the "NY Giants Super Bowl Commemorative Series" limited edition prints and posters.

The 1st billboard was displayed in January of 1987, on Rt. 3 before the New Jersey entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel 10 days prior to their Super Bowl XXI victory.

The 2nd billboard was displayed at five different locations in New Jersey from August, 1990 - February, 1991. During the playoffs, the message was changed to "GO GIANTS" prior to their Super Bowl XXV victory.

Billboard Record – Coincidence or Destiny?
A feature article dated November 12, 1990, in the GIANTS EXTRA publication, autographed by Bill Parcells as seen below, talks about the possibility of "Another Lucky Sign". What was then wishful thinking, later became reality. After establishment of the 2-for-2 winning billboard record, a third billboard was offered to the New York Giants to be created for their next Super Bowl bid sometime in the future, this time the billboard gift was turned away.

This gift of support is now available to all football fans to vote at TemptDestiny.com for their favorite team to be featured on the third billboard. During the 2000 football season, the NY Giants fans were not able to win the voting competition to retain their team's billboard legacy. As it turned out, the NY Giants returned to the Super Bowl (SB XXXV) without their billboard legacy in place, and for the first time lost.

Are these turn of events just mere coincidence and is it destiny for the Giants fans to win back their team's winning billboard legacy that their team gave away? Time will tell...

“All of us have bad luck and good luck. The man who persists through the bad luck - who keeps right on going - is the man who is there when the good luck comes - and is ready to receive it.”
Robert Collier quotes (American motivational author, 1885-1950)
